Didier Deschamps: 'FIFA investigation ongoing'

France boss Didier Deschamps says that FIFA are investigating claims that a drone was used to spy on their training preparations last week.

France boss Didier Deschamps has said that FIFA are investigating claims that a drone was used to spy on their training preparations ahead of tonight's World Cup opener against Honduras.

Deschamps did not offer an opinion as to who was behind the alleged incident, but has revealed that an investigation was ongoing.

"Apparently drones are used more and more," Deschamps told reporters.

"It's not up to me, FIFA handles this and has been carrying out an inquiry; we don't want any intrusion into our privacy. It's very hard to fight this these days."

The incident reportedly occurred last Tuesday.
