Fulham forward Dimitar Berbatov reveals that he intends to continue playing professional football until he is 40.

Fulham forward Dimitar Berbatov has revealed that he intends to continue playing professional football until he is 40.

The former Bulgaria international, who scored his third goal of the season during Saturday's 3-3 draw with Reading, will turn 32 in January.

"I'm not a keeper, Ryan Giggs or Paolo Maldini, but I want to play until I am 40," Berbatov told The Sun.

"I want to play in England for several more years. I like England as a place. I like the mentality, culture and its football."

Berbatov signed a two-year deal with the Cottagers when he joined from Manchester United in August.
