Martin Jol believes that Fulham were deserving of victory in their goalless draw with Norwich at Carrow Road.

Fulham manager Martin Jol believes that they were worthy of taking victory from their 0-0 stalemate with Norwich City this afternoon.

The Cottagers enjoyed 56% of possession at Carrow Road, but could not convert their time on the ball into clear-cut chances.

Jol said: "I thought we could have had three points. We were the better team in the first half, but we didn't exploit that because we didn't have a cutting edge in attack. So it's disappointing.

"But I thought we did okay. Our preparation wasn't good because we had some injuries, so I'm happy with how the new players did."

The point lifted Fulham one place to 12th in the Premier League table.
