Kieran Richardson wants Fulham to bounce back

Kieran Richardson believes that Fulham can respond from their Liverpool defeat with a win over West Bromwich Albion.

Fulham winger Kieran Richardson has targeted a victory over West Bromwich Albion for Fulham to bounce back from their disappointing 3-2 defeat to Liverpool in their last Premier League game.

Richardson said that Fulham did not get the result their Liverpool performance deserved, but that the players would be going to The Hawthorns full of confidence after the managerial change.

"It was a massive blow for us to lose to Liverpool," he told the club's official website. "Leading twice and Liverpool coming back, and conceding a penalty in the last minute was a bit hard to take but that's football and hopefully we can win our next game against West Brom.

"We played really well in the first half [against Liverpool] and put a lot of pressure on the ball. But they have some top-drawer players that can open you up in the blink of an eye.

"There are a lot of positives [from the Liverpool match] and we'll be going into the West Brom game with a lot of confidence."

Fulham are currently rooted to the bottom of the table.
