Fulham boss Kit Symons gives Hugo Rodallega backing

Fulham manager Kit Symons believes that Hugo Rodallega has the confidence to stay dangerous in front of goal.

Fulham manager Kit Symons has backed Hugo Rodallega to continue his recent form in front of goal.

The Colombian has scored four times in his last five games, including the decisive strike during last Saturday's win over Leeds United.

Symons believes that Rodallega's growing confidence will keep him sharp in front of goal during the coming weeks.

"Confidence is a huge thing in football but especially with strikers I think," he told Sky Sports News. "Hugo's confidence is up and he's really, really enjoying his football.

"I think you can see that and I think someone like Hugo, who's a lovely lad, wears his heart on his sleeve and he needs to be happy, he needs to feel loved and he's certainly that at Fulham."

Fulham are back in Championship action this Saturday when they welcome Sheffield Wednesday to Craven Cottage.
