Fulham's Kieran Richardson ready to battle to the end

Fulham midfielder Kieran Richardson reveals that he doesn't care if their quest for survival goes down to the last day of the season as long as they stay up.

Fulham midfielder Kieran Richardson has admitted that he is ready to fight until the final day of the season to keep his side in the Premier League.

The 29-year-old helped fire the Cottagers to a 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Saturday to boost their survival hopes, as they moved to within five points of 17th place Norwich City with five games remaining.

Richardson told the Daily Star: "I'm ready if it goes to the last day. I take each game at a time, but we genuinely believe we can do it.

"It doesn't matter if it's last day, last minute, last second. As long as we stay up, that's all that matters."

Fulham are 18th in the Premier League with 27 points after 33 games this season.
