Fulham are reportedly among the clubs interested in signing Celtic full-back Alistair Johnston.
The Cottagers are currently in a battle to secure European qualification, with Marco Silva's side sitting in ninth position in the Premier League table.
Fulham's European chances may depend on how many qualification spots become available between now and the end of the season, although the race is set to go right to the wire with six points separating third and 10th position.
Making summer additions will be imperative if Fulham reach one of the three UEFA competitions, but even if they miss out on European football, they will still be keen to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
It seems that one area Fulham are looking to bolster is the right side of their defence after being left light in the position following an injury to Kenny Tete.

Fulham targeting Johnston
As a result, Silva is having to work with Belgium international Timothy Castagne as his only fit natural right-back option in the squad.
According to The Athletic's David Ornstein, Fulham are among several clubs keeping tabs on Celtic's Johnston ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Cottagers are likely to have plenty of competition for his signature, with the Canadian said to be 'generating attention' from a number of English clubs.
Relegation-threatened Ipswich Town are believed to be among Fulham's competitors, although the West London side should have the edge with the Tractor Boys at risk of relegation.
Johnston is likely to attract more interest from Premier League clubs and teams across Europe when the transfer window reopens this summer.

Johnston's situation at Celtic
Johnston may be the subject of transfer speculation, but Johnston is understood to be content with his current situation at Celtic Park.
The full-back also has a long-term contract with the Scottish champions after penning a new deal in November to extend his stay until the summer of 2029.
As a result, Celtic should be in a strong negotiating position if Johnston's potential suitors make an effort to sign him this summer.
The Canada international has been a regular fixture in Brendan Rodgers's side this season, having started 37 of his 38 competitive appearances, contributing four goals and nine assists.
Johnston is expected to start when Celtic take on St Mirren in Saturday's Scottish Premiership clash at The SMISA Stadium.
