Cesare Prandelli: 'I take full responsibility for Arsenal defeat'

Cesare Prandelli admits that he has yet to find the correct system to get the best out of his Galatasaray players following their 4-1 defeat against Arsenal.

Galatasaray manager Cesare Prandelli has taken full responsibility for his side's 4-1 defeat against Arsenal in the Champions League last night.

The Turkish giants found themselves three goals down at the interval in the Group D encounter as the Gunners turned on the style, leaving Prandelli's men without a win from their opening two games.

"It is all my responsibility," FIFA.com quotes the former Italy head coach as saying. "It wasn't a great performance. Unfortunately the defenders played a bit wider than I expected and Melo had to play one against one.

"We will find a system the players believe in. Sometimes the messages I give might not go through to the team, but I believe we have very good players and we should be able to show our qualities."

Galatasaray return to league action on the weekend when they travel to face Kayseri Erciyesspor.
