League Two roundup: Gillingham maintain lead

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from League Two on Tuesday.

Gillingham have maintained their five-point lead at the top of the League Two table with a goalless draw with Exeter City away from home.

The draw sees Gillingham extend their unbeaten away run in the league to 11 matches.

Burton Albion have moved up to second in the standings with a 2-1 comeback victory over Aldershot Town also away from home, Robbie Weir and Michael Symes with the goals.

Port Vale are now third in the table as they lost 2-0 at Bristol Rovers, thanks to a double from Ryan Brunt.

Promotion hopefuls Northampton Town and Rotherham United both failed to win on Tuesday, the former drawing 1-1 at Morecambe and the latter playing out a 2-2 scoreline with Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park.

Elsewhere in League Two on Tuesday, Dagenham & Redbridge were held to a 2-2 draw by Torquay United at home, Oxford United beat Barnet 1-0 at the Kassam Stadium and AFC Wimbledon won 3-1 at Southend United.

The games between Plymouth Argyle and Bradford City at Home Park and York and Rochdale ended in goalless draws.
