Team News: Huddersfield Town make four changes for Middlesbrough tie

David Wagner makes four changes to his Huddersfield Town side as they welcome Middlesbrough to the John Smith's Stadium.

David Wagner has made four alterations to his Huddersfield Town side as they welcome Middlesbrough to the John Smith's Stadium.

Jed Steer has replaced Joe Murphy in goal and Ben Chilwell slots into the back four.

Elsewhere, Joe Lolley has earned a starting berth in midfield, while Martin Paterson has been given the nod to partner Nahki Wells up front.

Aitor Karanka has been forced into one change, as Grant Leadbitter - who scored an injury-time winner in the 1-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers last weekend - serves a one-match suspension.

Adam Forshaw hasn't recovered from injury in time to replace Leadbitter, so Bruno Zuculini has stepped into central midfield.

Middlesbrough: Konstantopoulos; Nsue, Ayala, Gibson, Friend; Adomah, Clayton; Zuculini, Downing, Fabbrini; Nugent
