Liam Rosenior desperate for another cup run

Liam Rosenior claims that going on another cup run is a big target for everyone at Hull City this season.

Liam Rosenior has admitted that he is eager to enjoy another cup run as Hull City prepare to begin their Capital One Cup campaign on Wednesday night.

Steve Bruce led his side to last season's FA Cup final, which they lost to Arsenal at Wembley, and Rosenior claims that their form in that competition is driving the squad on ahead of their meeting with West Bromwich Albion.

"When you see how much it meant to the city that we'd made it to a major cup final, it gives you motivation to do it again," the defender told reporters.

"It all bodes well for the future, not only in the league but in the cup competitions, which we'll be taking very seriously this season."

Rosenior has spoken of his desire to prove his worth to Bruce in the League Cup.
