Hull City's George Boyd focused on Premier League survival

Hull City winger George Boyd says that his team are targeting three points from their meeting with Arsenal on Sunday.

Hull City winger George Boyd has said that his team are targeting three points from their meeting with Arsenal on Sunday.

The Tigers booked their place in the FA Cup final last weekend with a 5-3 victory over Sheffield United, but Boyd insists that they must concentrate on league survival before thinking about a return to Wembley.

"The league is what we're concentrating on now and getting the job done," he told the club's official website.

"Another win in the league would be nice and we need to stay in this league. That is the biggest thing we could have achieved this season after everybody wrote us off at the start. We can only really look at the Cup Final when our league status is secure.

"We've shown that we can beat anyone at home this season, as we proved against Liverpool. We've got the two lads coming back in up front (Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic) which gives us that bit extra and we've been fairly solid at the back as well. We're fully focused on getting the win this weekend."

Hull are currently 13th in the Premier League table and sit six points above the relegation zone.
