Steve Bruce: 'Dame N'Doye could be the difference'

Steve Bruce backs Dame N'Doye to make "the difference" as Hull seek to avoid relegation from the Premier League after the January signing scored the winner against QPR.

Steve Bruce has said that Dame N'Doye could be "the difference" as Hull City look to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

The forward netted a late winner in Hull's 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers this afternoon to move the Tigers four points clear of the drop zone.

"We needed something if [Nikica] Jelavic broke down, and Dame N'Doye I first saw in Denmark in the Champions League," he told BBC Sport.

"We had to work extremely hard to get him but he has now got two in two games, and that could just be the difference."

N'Doye completed a move from Lokomotiv Moscow at the end of the January transfer window and has scored two in three games since joining Hull.
