Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Championship clash between Hull City and Wolverhampton Wanderers at the KC Stadium.

Hull City welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the KC Stadium on Tuesday with both clubs harbouring hopes of promotion this season.

The Tigers currently occupy fifth spot in the Championship table with 25 points from their opening 14 games. Meanwhile, Wolves sit four places lower and with four points fewer than their rivals.

Both teams have suffered inconsistent results in recent weeks, however, with Hull losing three of their last six league games and Wolves losing twice during the same period.

The last match between the two sides came in the Premier League in 2010 when the pair shared the points in a 2-2 draw and Wolves have not beaten Hull since 2007.

Neither side has any fresh injury concerns ahead of the match and both could name the same XI that started their last Championship encounters.

Recent form:

Hull City: LLWWLW
Wolves: WLWLDD

Possible lineups:

Hull: Amos; Elmohamady, Chester, McShane, Bruce, Rosenior; Evans, Koren, Queinn; Simpson, Aluko

Wolves: Ikeme; Foley, Berra, Johnson, Ward; Pennant, Henry, Sako, Doumbia; Doyle, Ebanks-Blake

Sports Mole says: 2-2
