Inter Miami have a chance to make history and set the MLS regular season points record this weekend, though we would be surprised to see star players Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets or Luis Suarez feature unless they need a goal in the second half to win their Saturday fixture against the New England Revolution.
All of them came on as second-half substitutes the last time out, while Jordi Alba was on the bench in their 1-0 triumph over Toronto, Drake Callender may be rested for the playoffs just as he was in their previous match, while former league MVP Carles Gil missed the previous New England fixture with a knock and seeing as the Revs have little to play for, we project he will not play on Saturday.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the team news for both clubs.
