Roberto Mancini has insisted that he has faith that Mauro Icardi will rediscover his best form for Inter Milan this season.

Inter are currently leading the way by a point in Serie A, but Icardi has only managed to score four league goals and many have questioned whether he deserves a regular spot in the side.

However, Mancini is confident that the Argentine will recover from his recent struggles to find the back of the net on a regular basis.

"Icardi is a starter," the Inter boss told reporters. "Out of 15 games he's played [12]. I don't see any problems, it can happen that he's on the bench just like the others.

"He's part of the squad to deal with these situations, sometimes he'll start and other times he'll have to start on the bench.

"Icardi will be our top scorer, there are no problems."

Inter travel to Udinese on Saturday evening.
