Roberto Mancini targets Serie A title for Inter Milan next term

Roberto Mancini targets the Serie A title with Inter Milan next season, despite their disappointing campaign so far this term.

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has admitted that he is thinking about a Serie A title challenge next season.

The Nerazzurri have endured a largely disappointing season so far and are currently ninth in the table.

Despite this, Mancini, who took over from Walter Mazzarri in November, has said that the club must be thinking about winning the Scudetto next term.

"We are working now to guarantee results at the end of this term. Inter must target the Scudetto next season," he told reporters.

"I think the teams ahead of us feel more certain because they have been working together for longer. This can make the difference, but it's just a matter of time for us."

Inter travel to Champions League hopefuls Napoli on Sunday.
