Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni has claimed that AC Milan are the favourites for Sunday's derby.

Both sides go into the encounter having won their midweek European ties, but the Inter boss believes that the Rossoneri's 3-2 win at Zenit St Petersburg on Wednesday will give their local rivals added confidence ahead of the match.

"Are we favourites in the derby? No, I think Milan are after their victory over Zenit in St Petersburg," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sport Italia.

Third-placed Inter are currently five points in front of Milan in the Serie A table.
