Sunday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Napoli.

Juventus vs. Genoa (Sunday, 11.30am)

Having taken just six points from seven Serie A matches, ailing Juventus have lost their grip on second spot in the standings ahead of Sunday's clash with Genoa.

While the Bianconeri let a lead slip against Atalanta BC last time out, their visitors almost rescued a point at home to Monza but were ultimately left empty-handed.

We say: Juventus 1-0 Genoa

Juventus can stop their slump by edging to a narrow win, as Genoa are less of a force on the road. Having averaged under a goal per game away from home, the Grifone may not be able to take full advantage of Juve's defensive woes.

Hellas Verona vs. AC Milan (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Following four straight wins in all competitions, AC Milan aim to keep a stranglehold on second place in the Serie A standings by beating Hellas Verona on Sunday.

Milan will arrive at Stadio Bentegodi having secured a spot in the Europa League quarter-finals, while back-to-back wins have helped Hellas inch away from the drop zone.

We say: Hellas Verona 0-2 AC Milan

They may have beaten two fellow strugglers in recent games, but Verona still lack bite in the opposition area, so only tired legs may stop Milan from coasting to victory. Four days on from securing progress in Europe, the Rossoneri should take care of business at Stadio Bentegodi.

Atalanta vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Atalanta BC seek a return to winning in Serie A against Fiorentina when they welcome the Viola to Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.

Gian Piero Gasperini's men have failed to win in four games heading into the gameweek 29 match, while the visitors must turn draws into victories to end in the coveted European positions.

We say: Atalanta BC 2-1 Fiorentina

Having returned to winning ways in Europe on Thursday, Atalanta are due a Serie A victory after four matches without one, with Gasperini's willingness to freshen his side possibly proving pivotal in Sunday's fixture.

Roma vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Having sealed progress in Europe despite suffering defeat, Roma return to Serie A duty on Sunday, when struggling Sassuolo visit Stadio Olimpico.

While the Giallorossi's recent revival sees them back in the mix for Champions League qualification, their visitors also received a boost by changing manager, finally ending a long winless run with victory in a relegation six-pointer.

We say: Roma 3-1 Sassuolo

Even if they do not open up a decisive lead before the closing stages, Roma should make sure they prevail with a late flurry. The hosts have scored more goals during the last 15 minutes of games this season than any other Serie A side (18), while Sassuolo have shipped no fewer than 16 during that same time period.

Inter Milan vs. Napoli (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Both heartbroken by their midweek exit from Europe, Inter Milan and Napoli meet at San Siro in Serie A's Sunday night showpiece.

Last season's Scudetto winners are set to pass the baton on to distant leaders Inter, who sit 16 points clear at the summit after 10 league wins on the spin.

We say: Inter Milan 2-1 Napoli

Inter and Napoli are Serie A's top two for total shots, shots on target, touches in the opposition area and expected goals this season, so it could be an entertaining encounter at San Siro. Both took severe blows in midweek, but the hosts are best equipped to resume normal service and take one step closer to succeeding their visitors as Italian champions.
