Sunday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Sassuolo

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Sassuolo.

Fiorentina vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 11.30am)

Now separated by only five points and three places in the Serie A standings, eighth-placed Fiorentina and Atalanta BC - who sit fifth - meet at Stadio Artemio Franchi in Sunday's early kickoff.

After bringing an end to their five-game winless run with Europa League victory in midweek, the visitors will look to get back on track in domestic competition, while the Viola won at in-form Spezia on Monday to stay in contention for the European places.

We say: Fiorentina 1-2 Atalanta BC

An Atalanta squad which has lost direction since the turn of the year arrive at the Franchi having put together two good results since their Coppa Italia exit at the hands of the Viola.

As a result - and due to Fiorentina's defensive deficiencies - they can continue their gradual return to form and extend a superb away record by picking up three points towards the top four chase.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Venezia vs. Genoa (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Facing their second basement battle in the space of a week, 19th-placed Genoa visit Venezia - who sit 18th in the Serie A standings - on Sunday.

The teams convene at Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo with the visitors winless in their last 22 league matches, while the home side broke their own streak without success by beating Torino last weekend.

We say: Venezia 0-1 Genoa

As Venezia have struggled for goals at home this season, the greater pressure to perform might see them snatch at their opportunities, allowing Genoa to slip in and claim just their second league win of the season.

Both a raft of fresh faces and a new manager has helped the visitors remain unbeaten since mid-January, and they can now turn their quest for survival up a notch by bringing all three points home from Venice.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Inter Milan vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Following another big-game defeat in midweek, Serie A champions Inter Milan aim to get back on track immediately as they host mid-table Sassuolo at San Siro on Sunday evening.

Losses to Milan and now Liverpool have seen the Nerazzurri falter in recent weeks, and last Saturday's draw with Napoli leaves them one point adrift of their city rivals at the top of the table.

We say: Inter Milan 3-1 Sassuolo

Frustrated by recent events in major matches, where they have come out on the wrong side of the result despite decent performances, Inter could take it out on opponents who are short of confidence and concede at a rate of nearly two goals per game on the road.

While Sassuolo certainly pose an attacking threat of their own, the champions are set to take maximum points in the first of three less challenging league fixtures.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Udinese vs. Lazio (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Seeking to bounce back from more midweek disappointment, Lazio travel to meet Serie A strugglers Udinese at the Dacia Arena on Sunday.

Though they have won three of their last four league matches, the Aquile lost in the Europa League on Thursday having previously been eliminated in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. Meanwhile, their hosts have won just once in five games and are placed perilously close to the relegation zone.

We say: Udinese 1-2 Lazio

While Lazio are on a positive run of form in the league and are pushing for a European place, they do not always travel well, so Udinese can run them close on Sunday.

Whatever the makeup of the visitors front three, though, they possess enough attacking threat to pick up maximum points - claiming their third win over the Bianconeri in the space of three months.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
