Sunday's Serie A predictions including Lazio vs. Inter Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Lazio vs. Inter Milan.

After a late win in England kept them in continental competition, AC Milan return to Serie A duty on Sunday, when they host regional rivals Monza at San Siro.

While beating Newcastle United was not enough to extend their Champions League journey, a morale-boosting victory secured Milan's place in the Europa League playoffs; however, they still lag behind in the Italian title race.

We say: AC Milan 1-1 Monza

Milan are the only team yet to draw a home match in Serie A this season, but that streak may come to an end on Sunday afternoon. A hangover from their Champions League exploits is a distinct possibility, while Monza are no pushovers and will be motivated by meeting their illustrious regional rivals.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Fiorentina vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Having successfully completed their European group-stage campaign, Fiorentina are back in domestic action on Sunday, when they host Hellas Verona at Stadio Franchi.

While the Viola have now secured their place in the Europa Conference League's last 16, they have been less consistent in Serie A, where their latest visitors languish inside the bottom three.

We say: Fiorentina 1-0 Hellas Verona

Neither side has a reliable striker to dig them out of trouble when most needed, with goals being gleaned from several different sources. An intense schedule may mean Fiorentina will lack a little intensity, but they should still have enough in hand to see off struggling Verona.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Udinese vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Udinese meet Sassuolo in Serie A on Sunday in a relegation clash between two sides hovering just above the drop zone at present.

After recent top-half finishes, neither side foresaw themselves making such poor starts, but three points here will be greatly beneficial to whoever comes out victorious ahead of the new year.

We say: Udinese 1-1 Sassuolo

All signs are pointing towards a draw in this one between two sides struggling for form at the bottom of Serie A.

Sassuolo have failed to win on their last 10 trips to Udine, while the hosts have only won once all season, amassing the most draws in the division with nine, and another could be on the cards here.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Bologna vs. Roma (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Master meets apprentice on Sunday evening, as Bologna host Roma at Stadio Dall'Ara with the teams level on points in the Serie A standings.

Jose Mourinho's men travel to Emilia-Romagna for a clash with Thiago Motta's in-form Rossoblu side, having just missed out on automatic entry to the Europa League's last 16.

We say: Bologna 0-0 Roma

In the last five Serie A meetings between Bologna and Roma, only three goals have been scored, while both clubs are inside this term's top six for fewest shots on target conceded. With the stakes fairly high, given their close proximity in the table, a stalemate may be the likeliest outcome.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Lazio vs. Inter Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)

After playing out their final Champions League group fixtures in midweek, Lazio and Inter Milan convene at Stadio Olimpico, as they go head-to-head in Serie A's Sunday night kickoff.

Both clubs were already through to the last 16 of Europe's top club competition before completing their respective campaigns, but the Biancocelesti trail league leaders Inter by some distance in the Italian top flight.

We say: Lazio 1-2 Inter Milan

Inter have taken 19 points from a possible 21 in Serie A away games this season, making them a fearsome proposition on the road as well as in Milan. With Lazio's defence disrupted by injury and failing to live up to last term's high standards, expect the Scudetto favourites to capitalise thanks to their ruthless attack.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
