Roberto Mancini reveals Felipe Melo interest

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini says that he wants to sign Galatasaray midfielder Felipe Melo, while also ruling out the sale of Gary Medel.

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has admitted that the club are interested in signing Felipe Melo.

The 32-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Nerazzurri throughout the summer, but a deal for the Brazilian is yet to be agreed with his club Galatasaray.

It is thought that Melo's possible arrival at the club could lead to the exit of midfielder Gary Medel, but Mancini has insisted that the Chilean is part of his plans.

"He is a player who could bring something to Inter, but right now he has a contract with Galatasaray. We'll see what happens," he told TRT Spor.

"Medel? We won't sell him. We do have to sell some players because we are only allowed 25 in the squad. However, Medel is not on the exit list, so he will remain with the team.

"On the other hand, we could sell Yuto Nagatomo."

Melo has spent the past four seasons at Galatasaray.
