Half-Time Report: Ipswich Town, Burnley goalless at the break

Ipswich Town and Burnley play out a goalless first half in their Championship meeting at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town and Burnley have played out a goalless first half in their Championship match this evening.

The visitors came close to taking an early lead when Michael Kightly's strike came crashing back off the post.

Freddie Sears then tried his luck for the hosts with a fierce low drive that was gathered by Tom Heaton.

In the final moments of the half, the Clarets almost broke the deadlock when Jelle Vossen was slipped in by Kightly, but his effort was saved by the keeper as the teams went into the break on level terms.
