Sports Mole previews this weekend's Championship clash between Ipswich Town and Burnley.

The Championship's bottom club Ipswich Town are looking to bounce back from a stinging 5-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in midweek when they take on Burnley at Portman Road.

Mick McCarthy has been in charge of the Suffolk outfit for two games now and has his work cut out reversing the fortunes of a club that has lost nine of their last 14 games.

Burnley have been inconstant all season, but there are signs that they are steadying the ship.

Sean Dyche's side defeated Leeds United 1-0 in midweek to leapfrog them in the table, and free-scoring striker Charlie Austin continues to bang them in. The 23-year-old has netted 20 times in 19 appearances.

A win for Burnley could feasibly lift them into the playoff places should other results this weekend go their way.
