Scott Loach refuses to rule out playing for Ipswich Town again

Goalkeeper Scott Loach says that there is still a slim chance that he will stay with Ipswich Town.

Scott Loach has refused to rule out the possibility of turning out for Ipswich Town again.

The goalkeeper has struggled to establish himself within the starting lineup at Portman Road since his 2012 switch from Watford, which has resulted in manager Mick McCarthy telling the 25-year-old that he can leave the club.

However, despite having admitted that his departure is likely, Loach has insisted that the decision has not been rubber-stamped.

"Although the gaffer has said I can move on, nothing is set in stone just yet," he told the club's official website. "I won't write off playing for Ipswich again just yet because you never know what happens in football, but it looks as if my time here is coming to an end."

Loach has made a total of 30 appearances for the Tractor Boys.
