Juventus manager Antonio Conte could reportedly take charge of the Italian national side on a part-time basis.

Juventus manager Antonio Conte could reportedly take charge of the Italian national side on a part-time basis.

The Azzurri are searching for a new manager to replace Cesare Prandelli, who resigned following their World Cup exit.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Conte does not want to leave Juventus, but the Italian football federation will allow him to stay at the club and manage the national side at the same time.

Italy will begin their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign against Norway on September 9, but it is believed that a new manager will not be appointed until August.

Conte has been in charge of Juventus since 2011 and has led the club to three consecutive league titles.
