Already-qualified Japan choose to rest key duo Kensuke Nagai and Keigo Higashi for their final Group D match against Honduras at the City of Coventry Stadium.

Japan have opted to rest key duo Kensuke Nagai and Keigo Higashi for their final Group D match against Honduras at the City of Coventry Stadium.

The Asian nation have already qualified for the quarter-finals courtesy of their victories over Spain and Morocco in their opening two games.

Honduras, who also pulled off a spectacular win against Spain in their previous pool match, need just a point to secure a last-eight berth.

Wigan Athletic defender Maynor Figueroa is the only Premier League representative in either side.
