Massimiliano Allegri: 'Juventus can do great things in the Champions League'

Massimiliano Allegri believes that his Juventus side has "remarkable potential" and can challenge for European success.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has said that his side can enjoy success in the Champions League this season.

The Bianconeri have struggled to transfer their domestic form to the European stage in recent years, but they have made it through to the last 16 of the tournament, where they will face Borussia Dortmund.

"We can do great things in the Champions League," he told La Repubblica.

"I have a group of good lads, who still have a hunger to win. They have truly remarkable potential.

"I'm thinking about the Champions League as well when I say that."

Juventus last won the Champions League in 1996.
