Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon wants three more years at top level

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon reveals that he plans to play for three more seasons at the top level of football in a bid to win the Champions League.

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has revealed that he plans to spend three more years at the top level of football.

The 37-year-old lost his second Champions League final on Saturday night as Juve were beaten 3-1 by Barcelona in Berlin.

European club football's biggest prize is one of the only pieces of silverware that the Italian has failed to win during his illustrious career, but Buffon remains hopeful that he can get his hands on it before he retires.

"I want three more years at this level to reach a few more dreams," the veteran shotstopper is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Buffon joined Juventus in 2001 following a six-year spell with Parma.
