Report: Lazio plot move for Ciro Immobile

Borussia Dortmund striker Ciro Immobile could be the subject of a transfer bid from Lazio, according to reports.

Borussia Dortmund's Italian striker Ciro Immobile has emerged as a transfer target for Serie A side Lazio, according to reports.

The 25-year-old has struggled to settle in Germany since making the switch from Torino in July 2014, scoring just three goals in 16 Bundesliga appearances this season.

However, Lazio president Claudio Lotito is willing to spend €15m [£10.6m] to bring him back to Italy, reports SportMediaset.it.

Immobile, whose contract with Dortmund runs until 2019, has scored one goal in nine appearances for Italy since making his international debut last year.
