Lazio president Claudio Lotito slams Francesco Totti selfie

Francesco Totti was wrong to take a selfie after scoring for Roma at the weekend, according to Lazio president Claudio Lotito.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito has said that Roma captain Francesco Totti was wrong to take a selfie after scoring against his side at the weekend.

Totti celebrated scoring the equaliser in the 2-2 draw by taking a photo of himself in front of his club's fans.

"Totti's selfie? It was an inappropriate gesture which had nothing to do with football," Lotito told Un Giorna da Pecora. "The selfie itself was harmless, but it adds to an already tense situation and makes things worse.

"Francesco Totti's selfie was out of place and you would never see my captain doing something like that, in any case."

Totti's double at the weekend took his tally to 11 goals in the Rome derby.
