Sunday's Serie A predictions including AC Milan vs. Genoa

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including AC Milan vs. Genoa.

Lecce vs. Monza (Sunday, 11.30am)

Separated by three points in the Serie A standings, and sitting either side of the dotted line, relegation rivals Lecce and Monza will meet on Sunday.

The visitors head for Stadio Via del Mare on the back of a long winless run, while their hosts' recent revival was quelled last weekend.

We say: Lecce 1-2 Monza

Crosses and set-pieces could play a part in this game's outcome, as Monza have conceded the most headed goals in Serie A (eight), with Lecce lying joint-second (six) in those rankings.

The visitors' wait for a win may come to its end, as their hosts are still unstable at the back and are by far the lowest scorers in Italy's top flight.

Bologna vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Seeking a club record ninth straight Serie A win, Fiorentina will try to write a fresh page in history when they meet Bologna on Sunday.

While the Viola added to their scintillating league streak with a thumping midweek win in Europe, their hosts for this season's first Derby dell'Appennino are still winless in the Champions League.

We say: Bologna 1-1 Fiorentina

Bologna can be stubborn opponents when required - conceding relatively few goals in the Champions League and rarely suffering defeat at the Dall'Ara - so they might finally stop Fiorentina's winning run.

A fascinating tactical battle undoubtedly awaits in Emilia-Romagna, where the points are set to be shared.

Parma vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Under-fire Hellas Verona boss Paolo Zanetti takes his side to Parma in Serie A on Sunday, desperate for a win.

The Gialloblu start the weekend in the bottom three after another humbling defeat last weekend, while Parma are coming off the back of a very tough run of fixtures.

We say: Parma 1-0 Hellas Verona

Parma will not feel too downtrodden about losing away to the champions last week, and after beating Lazio in their previous home match, they will feel confident of compounding the misery on Zanetti here.

Even a draw could help him get his side out of a current rut, but by losing last weekend, Verona became just the fifth Serie A side in a half-century to not draw any of their first 15 games of a season, and six straight defeats on the road offers nothing to encourage.

Como vs. Roma (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Boosted by back-to-back wins, Roma will aim to continue their revival on Sunday, when they visit Serie A strugglers Como at Stadio Sinigaglia.

While the Giallorossi have scored seven times in two games to finally halt their decline, their hosts are winless in nine and remain stuck inside the drop zone.

We say: Como 0-2 Roma

There is still a significant rebuild required at Roma, where Claudio Ranieri is keeping the seat warm for a permanent successor at the end of this season.

Nonetheless, they are more united under his management and possess sufficient firepower to beat a lightweight Como side.

AC Milan vs. Genoa (Sunday, 7.45pm)

After improving their European prospects in midweek, AC Milan will aim to get back on track in Serie A when they host Genoa on Sunday evening.

Milan kept in touch with the Champions League's top eight by winning on Wednesday, while their improving visitors head to San Siro on the back of a five-game unbeaten streak.

We say: AC Milan 1-0 Genoa

Although Genoa have shown signs of improvement, they still lack options across the final third, meaning Milan can continue their trend of keeping Serie A clean sheets at San Siro.

The hosts are not all singing from the same hymn sheet - and their coach is apparently treading on thin ice - but they possess enough nous to get the job done.
