Leeds United assistant manager Steve Thompson suspended?

A report claims that Leeds United assistant coach Steve Thompson has been suspended.

Leeds United have suspended assistant manager Steve Thompson, according to a report.

The 50-year-old was only appointed by Neil Redfearn last December, although with his contract due to expire in the summer, his future at Elland Road has now been thrown into the air.

BBC Sport claims that Thompson was temporarily relieved of his duties earlier today, with no reason behind the decision given as yet.

Leeds are currently 13th in the Championship table.
