Neil Redfearn focused on Birmingham City clash

Neil Readfearn insists that Leeds United will be fully prepared for this weekend's meeting with Birmingham City, as off-field matters continue to rumble on.

Leeds United manager Neil Redfearn has insisted that off-field matters will not play a part in Leeds United's Championship meeting with Birmingham City tomorrow afternoon.

Club owner Massimo Cellino is awaiting the verdict of his appeal against the Football League's decision to disqualify him from owning the Yorkshire outfit, which is being heard today.

Despite all the talk this week surrounding events that he has no control over, Redfearn says that his main priority is finding consistent results out on the field.

"Whatever's happening around the football club, come 3pm on Saturday, the game is the most important thing," he told reporters. "Massimo Cellino is trying to get stability at the club. The only thing I can affect is the performances."

The Italian owner has previously made it clear that he would resign from his position if it meant the Whites avoided any sort of punishment.
