Sports Mole looks ahead to this weekend's Championship meeting between Leeds United and Birmingham City.

Leeds United and Birmingham City will be hoping to end their runs of draws when they come up against each other this weekend.

The home side welcome the Blues to Elland Road following their 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Friday, which resulted in a four-month jail term for supporter Aaron Cawley, who was found guilty of assault after pushing Sheffield goalkeeper Chris Kirkland in the face.

Leeds can move up to the playoff places in the league table with a win over Birmingham, while the Blues can drift further away from the relegation zone with an away victory.

Neil Warnock could opt for Tom Lees and Jason Pearce to hold the back line, while Lee Clark is likely to field Leroy Lita and Marlon King up front.

Recent form:

Leeds: WDWDD
Birmingham: WLLDD

Possible starting lineups:

Leeds: Kenny; Byram, Lees, Pearce, Drury; Norris, Green, Brown, Varney; Becchio, Diouf

Birmingham: Butland; Robinson, Caldwell, Davies, Murphy; Elliott, Morrison, Mullins, Redmond; Lita, King

Sports Mole says: 1-1
