Leeds United loan Caleb Ekuban to Trabzonspor

Leeds United announce that they have allowed Caleb Ekuban to pen a season-long loan deal with Turkish side Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor have completed the season-long loan signing of Leeds United forward Caleb Ekuban.

The 24-year-old arrived at Elland Road last summer, but the attacker netted just once in 20 appearances in the Championship.

That return has resulted in Ekuban finding himself down the pecking order under new boss Marcelo Bielsa, and Leeds have decided to give the player a chance to gain first-team football elsewhere.

The Ghanaian will now spend the campaign with Trabzonspor, who finished in fifth place in the top-flight standings last season.

Leeds have now allowed as many as 15 players to go out on loan until either January or next summer.
