Leeds United manager Uwe Rosler is targeting a winger to complete his squad at Elland Road.
Rosler has made six signings this summer, including the big-money capture of Leicester City striker Chris Wood, however he still believes that his side lacks the wide players required to play his preferred 4-3-3 formation.
Full-back Sam Byram has experience of playing on the right-hand side of midfield, but it is the left which has proved problematic, with Casper Sloth and Souleymane Doukara both failing to convince in the role in pre-season.
"There are areas where we want to improve," Rosler told reporters. "Our financial framework is restricted but we still want to do at least one more thing.
"In some areas we are very light, especially when you talk about wanting to play with width and three up front."
The Whites host Everton on Saturday in their final pre-season friendly before starting their league campaign at home to recently-relegated Burnley.
