Leeds United have reportedly decided to offer Sebastian Larsson a route out of Sunderland.
The Swede was voted the Premier League club's Player of the Season last term, but he has made just six starts so far this campaign.
With his place in the Sweden squad for Euro 2016 at stake, Larsson has made it known that he is eager to play regular football, according to The Expressen.
The report adds that Championship outfit Leeds have been alerted by news of the 30-year-old's potential availability, with a loan switch having been mooted.
Sunderland midfielder Liam Bridcutt is already on loan at Elland Road, but Larsson can also make a similar switch because the rule that prohibits more than one player from the same team going on loan to another at the same time only applies to clubs in the Premier League.
