Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers insists that his side have not given up the fight to finish in the Premier League's top six this season.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that his team are still fighting to finish in a European place this season in the Premier League.

The Foxes are currently ninth in the division, trailing sixth-placed West Ham United by 11 points with nine matches still to be played.

However, the belief is still there that the team can close that gap after defeating Crystal Palace 2-1 on Sunday, with goals from Ademola Lookman and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall proving to be the difference.

"We cannot stop until the last whistle goes, we have been really unfortunate and it has been a real challenge for us without our top players. Now they are coming back and because they are back it means I can rest some and put in a fresh team," Rodgers told the press.

"It is going to be a big challenge because we are playing right the way through and we are going to fight until the very end."

Before Leicester return to Premier League action next weekend, the Foxes will face PSV Eindhoven in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
