Leicester City have reportedly rejected an approach from Everton for head of recruitment Steve Walsh.
Walsh was a key part of the backroom staff that helped Leicester to the most unlikely of title successes last season, acting as assistant manager in addition to his position as head of recruitment.
The 51-year-old was largely responsible for bringing the likes of N'Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez to the club, both of whom shone for the Foxes on their way to Premier League glory.
Everton have reportedly been lining up a move to poach Walsh from the champions this summer, and Sky Sports News now claims that Leicester have turned down an official approach.
Recent reports have suggested that Leicester are resigned to losing Walsh, despite the coach having signed a new deal at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
