Jamie Redknapp hails Esteban Cambiasso arrival

Former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp hails Leicester City's signing of Esteban Cambiasso.

Jamie Redknapp believes that Esteban Cambiasso's experience will prove to be "invaluable" for Leicester City.

The veteran former Argentina international joined the Foxes earlier this week, and Redknapp thinks that the signing will be an inspired one by manager Nigel Pearson.

Redknapp told Sky Sports News: "He's technically very good, he'll be looking forward to playing in the Premier League, he's had a wonderful career and his experience will be invaluable.

"They've had a good start, they drew at home to Everton, it was a really good result, and then they were unlucky somewhat against Chelsea, David Nugent had a great chance, and it might have been a completely different game [if Nugent scores]."

Leicester host Arsenal at the King Power Stadium this afternoon.
