AC Milan have reportedly approached Leicester City to express their interest in signing Riyad Mahrez.
Rossoneri sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli scouted the Algerian during a trip to England and has now contacted the Foxes to request a price tag, according to Calciomercato.
However, Leicester are not expected to invite a bid for Mahrez - who recently signed a new long-term contract at the King Power Stadium - having rejected a big-money offer from Arsenal over the summer.
Milan are said to be keen to bolster their midfield, with Mirabelli also rumoured to have scouted Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas while he was on business in England.
