Leicester City 'open talks with Leonardo Ulloa over new deal'

Leicester City reportedly open talks with Leonardo Ulloa regarding a new contract.

Leicester City have reportedly opened discussions with Leonardo Ulloa regarding a new contract.

Six months ago, it seemed that there would be no way back for the Argentine after he threatened to go on strike following a dispute with the club.

Ulloa was angered by the Foxes' decision to reject a bid from Sunderland in January, but it seems that the forward's relationship with the club is much more positive.

Craig Shakespeare, who replaced Claudio Ranieri as manager in February, is believed to be keen to keep hold of Ulloa, and there are suggestions that a new deal could be agreed, according to the Daily Mail.

The 30-year-old has 12 months left on his current contract.
