Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has confirmed that the club are interested in signing Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula.
The newly-crowned Premier League champions have for some time been tracking the 26-year-old, who has scored 24 goals in Serie B this season.
"I just want some new players who are at the level of my starters, and greater tactical coordination for the team," Ranieri told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We also look to Italy for the market. Lapadula is very good. We've been following him for a while."
Leicester won their first top-flight title in the club's 132-year history with two games of the season left to play.
