West Ham United coach Ian Hendon has been announced as the new manager of Leyton Orient.
The 43-year-old will replace Fabio Liverani, who left the East London club by mutual consent following relegation from League One.
Hendon told BBC Sport: "Orient is a club that means a great deal to me. I hope to be able to bring some stability to the club and help rebuild after the disappointment of last season.
"I've got a lot of experience of the lower leagues, having played at every level during my career and worked in League Two as player-manager.
"However, having spent a few years working in the Premier League I have learnt a huge amount that will stand me in good stead for this new challenge."
Hendon, who played more than 150 times for Orient, will take up his new role on July 1.
