Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet believes that they are well placed to "make history" in the FA Cup this season.
The Reds meet Aston Villa in the semi-final at Wembley this afternoon, and the Belgian goalkeeper is hopeful of ending the club's nine-year wait to win the competition.
He told reporters: "It was 2006 when Liverpool last won the FA Cup and we don't want to see a 10-year anniversary in 2016.
"We want to win it this season and hopefully make a little bit of history."
The winners of this afternoon's clash will meet Arsenal in May's final after the Gunners edged out Reading on Saturday.
