Half-Time Report: All square at Craven Cottage

Daniel Sturridge cancels out Dimitar Berbatov's goal for Fulham as Liverpool head into the break level at 1-1 with the Cottagers.

Fulham and Liverpool have headed into the half-time interval of their Premier League encounter in London locked at 1-1.

Brendan Rodgers's side started the game the brighter of the two teams but had to wait until the 14th minute to get their first effort on target.

Philippe Coutinho wriggled past an opponent and shot at the Fulham goal, but Mark Schwarzer was alert to his attempt.

Daniel Sturridge collected Jamie Carragher's pass on the left and tried to fire home from a narrow angle but in vain, before Jordan Henderson took an attempt from distance as Liverpool asserted themselves at Craven Cottage.

Then much against the run of play Fulham almost took the lead just after the half-hour mark through Eyong Enoh, but Reds goalkeeper Pepe Reina made a good save.

Moments later Martin Jol's side were 1-0 up thanks to Dimitar Berbatov, who headed home Sascha Riether's cross from close range.

However, Liverpool restored parity immediately, Sturridge firing home from the centre of the Fulham penalty area.
