Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker to spend six weeks on sidelines?

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson will reportedly miss six weeks of action after suffering a calf injury against Norwich City on Friday night.

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker will reportedly miss at least six weeks of action with a calf injury.

The Brazilian suffered the problem when taking a goal kick against Norwich City on Friday night, which immediately led to his withdrawal before the break.

Manager Jurgen Klopp acknowledged that he feared a significant issue for his number one, and it appears that the 26-year-old faces a lengthy period in the treatment room.

According to The Mirror, Alisson has suffered a torn muscle, an injury which is likely to keep him on the sidelines until the end of September.

Liverpool face Arsenal and Chelsea in the Premier League before September 22, while they also begin the defence of their Champions League trophy.
