Liverpool's Jordan Henderson: 'Hopefully it is not long until I'm back playing'

Jordan Henderson is hopeful that it will not be 'too long' before he is back playing for Liverpool after breaking a bone in his foot three months ago.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has revealed that he should 'hopefully' be back on the pitch soon following a three-month layoff with a foot injury.

The club captain has played just two games this season after breaking a bone in his foot during a training session.

In this afternoon's press conference, Jurgen Klopp, who has not had Henderson in his team since replacing Brendan Rodgers as manager last month, revealed that the midfielder could be back in training next week.

Subsequently, Henderson wrote on Instagram: "Feeling better everyday, Thanks to all the medical/fitness staff! And thanks for all your support. Hopefully not to long now."
