Jordon Ibe and Brendan Galloway are doubts for the England Under-21s' Euro 2017 qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Switzerland due to injuries.
Ibe is said to have suffered a hamstring problem during Liverpool's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday, while Everton's Galloway has a muscular injury.
Manager Gareth Southgate has concerns over the pair's fitness, but is yet to rule them out completely.
"Jordon is being assessed by the club, we're waiting for the outcome of that. Hopefully he is okay and can travel, if not maybe we'd have to think about whether there's another replacement to bring in," Sky Sports News quotes Southgate as saying.
"Brendan is being assessed now, he is with us. It's a muscular injury but we don't want to take any chances. Maybe he is okay for Thursday, maybe he is okay for Monday. We don't know."
The Young Lions will face Bosnia on Thursday before taking on Switzerland four days later.
